Powell Set to Compete on Rallying's Biggest Stage

powellWRCfiestaFrontJohn Powell getting set to rally at the highest level, venturing to Spain to compete in a WRC event behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta WRC. He is flying the Caribbean flag high and the Fiesta's livery is tesimony to that. Representing Trinidad and Tobago, his Ford will be decked out in black, red and white. We caught up with the Penti for a quick chat while he literally went through the paces.

Among the key changes are the abandonment of the lower-capacity production classes and the division of World Rally Cars into two classes; this reflects the performance gap between cars of different periods and allows the inclusion of the most recent World Cars, such as the Ford Fiesta and MINI.
